How to view properties of the One Drive and SharePoint Site

Please refer to the instructions below in order to view the properties of the One Drive Site of a specific user.

Important: You can only view properties of the One Drive or SharePoint Site via PowerShell.

Step-1: Connect to SharePoint Online

You can connect to SharePoint Online using the Connect-SPOService -Url <SharePoint admin center address> cmdlet,

Step-2: For One Drive Sites

You can get detailed properties of the specific One Drive site with the help of the cmdlet below,

Get-SpoSite -Identity “<One Drive site URL>” |fl

Example: Get-SpoSite -Identity https://abcxyz-my.sharepoint.com/personal/user1_abcxyz_com |fl

Note: In the example above, we will get the detailed properties of the One Drive site of the user1 in the abcxyz.com domain.

Step-2: For SharePoint Sites

You can get detailed properties of the SharePoint site with the help of the cmdlet below,

Get-SpoSite -Identity “<SharePoint site URL>” |fl

Example: Get-SPOSite -Identity https:// abcxyz.sharepoint.com |fl

Note: In the example above, we will get the detailed properties of the SharePoint site created under the abcxyz.com domain.
