Method for assigning Minecraft Education Licenses to single user or users in bulk

Method For a single-user assignment:

Log into the Microsoft Store - https://educationstore.microsoft.com with your admin account and type in an email to assign a license

Method for Bulk assigning:

Auto-assigning licenses feature will automatically assign a license to a user in your tenant when they sign in to Minecraft with their Office 365 credentials. This is especially useful in large deployments where an entire school or school district has purchased licenses for all faculty and students through their Office 365 subscription.

By default, the auto subscription assignment is turned off. Below are the steps to turn on auto-assign license:

1. log in to Microsoft Store for Education. with your Global Admin Account.

2. Click Manage.
You'll see Minecraft: Education Edition product page.


 3. Slide the Auto-assign license to turn it on.

You can turn off the Auto-assign license once it gets assigned to all the users or once all the licenses get acquired.
