Know about the status of Skype for Business. (Actually deprecated).

Skype for Business was a communication tool included in Microsoft 365, offering instant messaging, voice and video calls, and online meetings for businesses. However, Skype for Business Online was retired on July 31, 2021, and Microsoft has transitioned users to Microsoft Teams as the primary collaboration platform.

• Skype for Business Online is no longer available; organizations must use Microsoft Teams.

• Skype for Business Server is still supported for on-premises deployments.

• Microsoft Teams offers enhanced features, including better integration with Microsoft 365 apps, improved security, and modern collaboration tools.

Microsoft recently has fully transitioned users to Microsoft Teams as the primary communication and collaboration platform. However, Skype for Business Server is still available for on-premises deployments.

In the newer versions of Microsoft 365 will be no longer included as it's phased out in favor of Microsoft Teams.
