In order to find recorded Teams meetings, please refer to the instructions below
1. If your organization still uses Stream, please ask the affected user who recorded the Teams meeting to login Stream Web portal ( https://web.microsoftstream.com/ ) --> search for the recording with title on the main search bar (as shown in the attached below,
Note: As of August 2021, Teams meeting recordings will no longer be saved to Microsoft Stream. Moving forward, all meeting recordings will be saved to OneDrive and SharePoint. Some organizations are already choosing to make this change. For those users, migration to OneDrive and SharePoint began in October 2020.
2. Ask to share the screenshot of the Team app where it says Meeting Recording has started to confirm if the Team meeting was actually started recording
3. Please refer to the instructions below to use compliance and eDiscovery for retrieving meeting recordings,
i. Go to https://protection.office.com and sign in using Office 365 admin email address and password.
ii. Click Search > Content search.
iii. On the Search page, click the arrow next to + New search
iv. Click New search in the drop-down list.
v. Under Search query, specify the following things and look for the keyword "recording" in the subject line of the item.
vi. Click Save & Run
