Best way to reinstall office is

  1. Uninstall Office 365 using SaRA tool from this link https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC
  2. Reinstall Office 365 from the link: https://portal.office.com/

If the issue is Identified to be with the user profile please ask the customer to follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Go to Windows Credential Manager and delete all credentials related to Office 365.
  2. Go to Windows Settings > Email & Account Settings and see if your Work Account is present (you may remove/re-add the account).
  3. Create a new Windows Profile and see if the issue persists.

To troubleshoot basic Office 356 issues

  1. Download and install SaRA tool from this link: https://aka.ms/sara_home
  2. Once it's installed please run the wizard and follow the prompts that appear on the screen
