Outlook - Issue in installing Specific Outlook Version

Issue:

The user is trying to install a specific outlook 1902 version on a windows test machine but unable to download. But when he tries to install the standard version of outlook it works fine.

The user has used the Microsoft office deployment tool and also he downloaded config file for outlook using config.office.com but still having an issue in installation

Resolution attempt# 1:

Please reboot your machine and then follow the steps mentioned below to roll back to Semi Annual Channel.

1. Launch Command Prompt as an administrator.  
2. Navigate to “<C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun copy the file location and run on command prompt.
3. Run the command OfficeC2RClient.exe /changesetting Channel=Broad and then run OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=19.02.11328.20492.

Resolution: 

To use Outlook client Version 19.02 (11328.20492).​

1. Copied the file from C drive and ran the command on cmd as an administrator “<C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun.​
2. Then command OfficeC2RClient.exe /changesetting Channel=Broad and then run OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.02.11328.20492.​
3. Received error message: Something went wrong - Error Code: 30029-27.​
4. We customized the version and channel from the link https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings ​
5. As ODT file was already downloaded in the machine. ​
6. We opened command prompt and ran as an administrator. ​
7. Ran the command to download the Office 365 products using configuration XML file using the command setup.exe /download ConfigFileName.xml​
8. After the file was downloaded, we ran the command to install using the command setup.exe /configure ConfigFileName.xml​
9. We verified we have installed the desired channel and version using Word application. ​​
