Issue: All devices are prompting to prompting in Comp Portal App to provide apple ID, however, devices are federated and work on Azure AD accounts and not apple IDs. Two versions of Comp Portal being pushed to devices: Microsoft Store App and VPP Comp Portal App
Resolution/Troubleshooting:
- Checke the VPP token profile settings and devices assign to it. Correct any configuration, if needed.
- Check affected device and it’s app failing status.
- In error status it will show error as “License Assignment Failed with Token Expiration”
- Go to the Apple VPP tokens and there the status seems to be expired.
- Go to Apple Business Manager portal and download the token and update in the VPP profile and sync it.
- After token is renewed validate with the affected devices and devices should be getting company portal installation without asking apple ID
