Scenario:
The Outlook Desktop Application continuously prompts to enter the password each time when the user starts Outlook App or in the middle of using the Outlook App.
Solution:
Steps:
1. Clear web and Windows credentials via Control Panel > Credential manager
2. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity, create a DWORD key named EnableADAL and set it to 0.
3. Under the same registry key, create a DWORD key named DisableADALatopWAMOverride and set it to 1
4. Enable modern authentication > Go to Microsoft 365 admin center > Settings > Org settings > Enable Modern authentication.
5. Re-create the Outlook profile and Windows profile.
