Security & Compliance - Defender ATP Change Data Location Region

While this is possible, it is only doable from Microsoft Backend. Please note the below conditions before moving forward with this step:


• Tenant data will not be migrated - Microsoft essentially RESETs the OrgID from their backend to allow the user to select a different region.
• This means you will first have to offboard all the Windows 10 or Windows Server 2019 machines which are currently onboarded to MDATP.


Please login to your MDATP portal and provide a copy of the Org and Tenant ID to Microsoft Support so the request can be processed. 

Also note that this reset may cause enrollment problems for a few devices on the post change enrollment.
