When exporting the results from an eDiscovery case in Content Search, you receive the error mentioned below:
Unable to execute the task. Reason: The results for "case name" aren't up to date. Please update the search results to get the most current estimate.
Solution:
If the results of a search are older than 7 days and you submit an export job, an error message is displayed prompting you to rerun the search to update the search results. If this happens, cancel the export, rerun the search, and then start the export again.
Note: If the search is older than a month (30 Days) then you will not be able to export the results anyway as this is a product limitation. You will need to create a new case in Content Search in order to export the results.
